2002 – Shanghai GK established in a small office in Shanghai
2005 – Shanghai GK got 5 emplyee
2006-Shanghai GK revenue of $30K /year during 2nd year startup.
2007-Shanghai GK company grew rapidly in scale and attended biggest exhibition in Hong Kong for the first time.
2008 – Shanghai GK built a production line in Yancheng, Jiangsu to manufacture microwave heating products.
2010 – Shanghai GK set up a new office in Yancheng
2013 – Shanghai GK joined Alibaba and started E-commerce sales
2015 – Shanghai GK made its first electric heating eye mask
2019 – Shanghai GK set a R&D team
2020 – Shanghai GK moved into a larger plant, 65,000ft2
2022 – Shanghai GK annual turnover reach $14millions and celebrated its 20th anniversary
2023 – Shanghai GK got 150+ employee

Key point

In 2002, a couple created Shanghai GK with expectation of manufacturing premium products in Shanghai. They worked in a small office and did small business. At that time, GK is a trade company and the products were finalized in factory in Yancheng, Jiangsu. But they will go to Yancheng to check the quality of product of each batch. Due to their persist in quality control, the business grew bigger and bigger

In 2008, by a chance, Shanghai GK started to get into the field of microwave heating products. Then our story begins. We established the sewing line and the filling line to specially produce microwave heating products. From then on, Shanghai GK began to focus on the market of warm therapy products.

In 2015, after years of manufacturing, GK became professional in designing, manufacturing, exporting microwave heating products. Then we started to search more convenient method to warm therapy. So we developed the electric heated eye mask and successfully we brought more electric heating products into the market.

In 2020, due to the growing demands for warm therapy products, we expanded our factory and moved to a larger area. To control the quality of heated products and to meet the OEM/ODM requirement, we built R&D team to provide customization service.
